Rix and Kay: Chancery Lane Project
The Chancery Lane Project is a collaboration of lawyers committing to align their contractual drafting with net-zero. By considering the climate crisis in green clauses, environmental protection is written in law, enabling solutions to climate change. Round Britain Climate Challenge sponsors Rix and Kay have recently committed to joining this work, supporting net-zero goals as a focal point for the practice. It is creative and necessary climate action like this that reveals the impact those in professional services roles can have on the climate crisis. While less publicised than visible rewilding or electrification, these green clauses could have the power to enforce significant contributions towards net-zero goals.
